Mark Banaman likes to stage confrontations with public officials to make a point, but sometimes, the nature of that point can be so difficult to glean from his behaviour.
Perhaps there is no point? Perhaps his actions have nothing to do with protest and everything to do with the delight he seems to take in acting completely unreasonably in public. Perhaps Banaman only exists as a sort of impish trickster whose one goal is to keep the rest of us guessing.
Does Banaman laugh with glee as the rest of us try, without any success, to eek out any coherent meaning from his actions?
